This Privacy Policy explains how Zedhost Cloud Solutions LLC, dba QBDesktopCloud, collects, uses, shares and protects information when you visit https://zedhostcloud.com, purchase products or services, use the customer portal, or contact us.
1. Information we collect
- Information you provide: name, company, email address, phone number, billing address, account password (stored only as a one-way hash), messages you send us, support tickets, quote requests and the electronic signature/acknowledgment you provide when placing an order or making a payment.
- Order and payment information: the products you buy, prices, invoices, payment method chosen, check numbers and ACH references recorded by our finance team, and the status of each payment. We do not collect or store full card numbers, CVV codes or bank account/routing numbers on our systems. Card details, when card payments are enabled, are entered into a form that transmits them directly to our payment processor (Authorize.Net), which returns only a token, the card brand and the last four digits.
- Transaction evidence: when you place an order or submit a payment we record your IP address, browser and version, operating system, device type, referring page, browser time zone, session identifier and the date and time of your acknowledgment. This is retained as a record of the transaction and for fraud prevention and dispute resolution.
- Automatically collected information: standard server logs (IP address, requested pages, user agent, timestamps) and strictly necessary cookies used to keep you signed in and to protect forms against forgery. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels.
2. How we use information
- To process orders, issue invoices and receipts, provision hosting services and deliver hardware.
- To process and confirm payments and to notify you of payment status changes by email.
- To provide customer support and respond to quote requests.
- To manage subscriptions, renewals and reminders.
- To maintain accounting records, prevent fraud, document transaction authorization and respond to payment disputes or chargebacks.
- To secure our website and portal (login throttling, audit logging).
- To comply with legal obligations.
3. Emails
We send transactional emails relating to your account, orders, invoices, payments and subscriptions from support@zedhostcloud.com. These messages are part of the service and cannot be opted out of while you have open orders or active subscriptions. We do not send marketing email without your consent.
4. How we share information
We share information only as needed to operate the business: with our payment processor (for card transactions), with hardware distributors when required to fulfil an order, with our hosting infrastructure providers, with our accountants or legal advisers, and with law enforcement or courts when legally required. We do not sell or rent personal information.
5. Data retention
Order, invoice, payment and transaction-evidence records are retained for as long as needed for accounting, tax and dispute purposes (generally seven years). Account information is retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards. Audit logs are append-only and retained for security purposes.
6. Security
We use HTTPS encryption for all pages, hashed passwords, role-based access controls for staff, session expiration, rate limiting on logins, and append-only audit logs of administrative actions. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; if you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.
7. Your choices and rights
You may review and update your profile and company information in the customer portal. You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing support@zedhostcloud.com. We may need to retain certain records to meet legal and accounting obligations. Residents of states with specific privacy laws may have additional rights, which we will honor as required.
8. Children
Our services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
9. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above reflects the latest revision; material changes will be posted on this page.
