Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy applies to all customers and users of hosting, portal and other online services provided by Zedhost Cloud Solutions LLC (dba QBDesktopCloud).

1. Permitted use

Hosted environments are provided for running your licensed business applications and storing the associated business data for your own organization's use.

2. Prohibited activities

• Installing or running software you are not licensed to use, or circumventing license controls.
• Sharing individual user credentials, or exceeding the licensed number of users.
• Storing, transmitting or distributing unlawful content, malware, or material that infringes intellectual property rights.
• Sending unsolicited bulk email or operating mail relays from the hosted environment.
• Cryptocurrency mining, file-sharing services, or other workloads unrelated to business application use that consume disproportionate resources.
• Attempting to access other customers' data, probing or scanning our infrastructure, or interfering with the service.
• Using the service in violation of any law, including data-protection and export-control laws.

3. Resource use

Plans include defined users and storage. Sustained use materially beyond plan limits may require an upgrade; we will contact you before making changes.

4. Security responsibilities

Keep passwords confidential, use multi-factor authentication where offered, remove users who leave your organization, and report suspected compromise promptly.

5. Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations and, depending on severity, warn, suspend or terminate service. Where possible we will notify you and allow a reasonable period to cure. Violations involving illegal activity may be reported to authorities.
